Cristelle Terroni is a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon. She was received at the agrégation in 2006 and teaches American history at Université Lumière Lyon 2 as a third-year PhD student. Her current research bears on New York’s alternative spaces in the 1970s and adopts a historical as well as an artistic point of view. In her recent academic experiences abroad, she taught French at Cornell and Harvard Universities and was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University in 2011. She published an article on the integration of installations inside the MoMA in the late 1960s in the fifth issue of the magazine 2.0.1 (« L’économie de l’œuvre »).
