Sociologist and researcher at the IRISSO (Université Paris-Dauphine, PSL Research University, CNRS, INRA), Marc-Olivier Déplaude first worked on health policies and the medical profession. He is currently conducting research about big food processors, the criticisms and mobilizations they arouse, and the way they respond to them. He recently published La hantise du nombre.
